Overview:

Quantum has worked with a wide variety of clients, from the Von Braun Center to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, and our in-house sales, installation, and service team has overseen the installed of AV systems in over 800 Courtrooms in more than 30 states. Quantum also retains staff members dedicated solely to the religious market - with over 150 years of combined experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide audio visual installation, operation and setup assistance for the Office of Military Commissions (OMC), Periodic Review Secretariat (PRS), in addition to other organizations supporting OMC's mission. Design, install, troubleshoot, and assist in operating audio visual equipment for Trial preparation (mock courtrooms).
  • Schedule, install, troubleshoot, and operate video teleconferences (VTCs) for the Convening Authority, to include but not limited to the VTC witness suite for all witness testimonies for hearings and trials.
  • Responsible for coordinating with various organizations in the testing, troubleshooting, and installation for audio video IP streaming of court proceedings in the NCR regional offices, to include but not limited to the Pentagon Library Center.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for OMC personnel involving audio visual technology.
  • Audio/Video Operator/Installer shall understand the technical issues and appropriate language required to provide effective customer support
  • The Audio/Video Operator/Installer shall provide critical advice to the OMC PM and courtroom technology staff while implementing changes and installation(s) on all approved modifications from OMC.

Requirements:

  • TS clearance
  • Three (3) years of experience installing audiovisual equipment hardware in audiovisual racks. Equipment shall include the installation of BIAMP hardware, Crestron video processing hardware, and audiovisual matrix switchers.
  • Three (3) years' experience terminating audio XLR connectors, CAT-5 connectors, audio phoenix connectors, RCA connectors, and video BNC connectors; operating audiovisual software and touch panels.
  • Equipment shall include operating BIAMP audio software, such as adjusting volume decibel, audio equalization, acoustic echo cancellation of audio transmissions, and updating existing BIAMP program files.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with the following vendors' equipment:
  • Crestron
  • For The Record (FTR)
  • BIAMP
  • Extron
  • Cisco
  • Kramer
  • Shure Microphones
  • All commercially acquired equipment used in courtrooms and by translators
